# August Release - 10.08.2026

🚀 Here's what's new and improved in Frisbii Billing in August. These changes were released based on updates completed between August 3rd – August 5th, and packaged for publication on Monday, August 10th.

## 📢 New Feature

#### ✅ Generate coupon codes in bulk

**Product:** Billing - All plans **Platform**: App

**What's new** You can now generate a whole batch of unique coupon codes at once, instead of creating them one by one. Configure a code format (prefix, suffix, character set, and length) and a batch size, then generate all the codes in a single action.

**Why it matters** Running large promotions no longer means creating coupon codes manually. Each batch has its own overview with total, active, redeemed, and invalidated code counts, and you can invalidate individual codes or export the full batch to CSV.

## 🔧 Enhancements

#### ✅ Coupons now expire automatically when their valid-until date passes

**Product:** Billing - All plans **Platform**: App

**What's changed** Coupons that have no maximum redemption limit but do have a valid-until date are now automatically marked as expired once that date passes. You can also mark a coupon as expired manually from the coupon overview.

**Why it matters** Previously, these coupons stayed in "active" status indefinitely even though they could no longer be redeemed. Coupon status now accurately reflects whether a coupon can still be used.

#### ✅ Configurable zero-amount line items for usage-based billing products

**Product:** Billing - Growth, Scale **Platform**: App

**What's changed** When setting up a usage-based billing product, you can now choose whether zero-amount usage line items appear on the invoice - using the same toggle already available for plans.

**Why it matters** You get consistent control over invoice line-item behavior across both plans and metered usage products, so invoices only show the information you want included.

## 🐛 Bug Fixes

#### ✅ Fixed period discounts no longer extend when a subscription is reactivated

**Product:** Billing - All plans **Platform**: App

**What's fixed** An issue where reactivating a subscription after a hold period could extend the window of a fixed-period discount has been resolved. The discount period is now calculated from when the discount was applied, not from the reactivation date.

**Why it matters** Discounts now expire on schedule regardless of holds or reactivations, so discount durations always match what was originally configured.
