What is Shopify?

Shopify is an e-commerce platform that helps you sell online and in-store. Entrepreneurs, retailers, and global brands use Shopify to process sales, run their retail operations, and grow their businesses.

Activate Frisbii Pay in Shopify

1. Log in to your Shopify Account.

2. Click on Settings in the lower left corner.

3. Click on Payments in the menu and then click Add payment methods at the bottom.
   

4. You will be redirected to a search bar, here select Search by provider, search for Frisbii Payments and click on it in the dropdown.
   

5. Click on Install button.

6. You’ll be redirected to another page. Click on Install again.

7. Enter your private API key from the Frisbii Admin and click on Connect.

   Note

   You can find your private API keys in your Frisbii Admin under Configurations > Integrations and tools > API credentials.

8. After successful connection, the account details page opens. Click on Activate.

9. You’ll be redirected once more to a page where you’ll find all the payment methods that can be activated with Frisbii.

   1. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and activate the test mode, if you want to test your connection first.

   2. Click on Activate.
      

10. Scroll to the top of the page, click on More actions and click on Manage.
    
    

11. The account details page opens.

    The Setup status should show successfully connected to Frisbii account and Frisbii Webhook should state Activated.

    Debug mode

    The debug mode can be activated when testing our app. Make sure to turn it off before going live!

    
    

Instant or manual settle

Depending on what sort of product you sell, you can change the setting of your Payment capture method.

This setting can be found under Settings > Payments in your Shopify account.

• Automatically at checkout: If you are selling a service (not a physical product), where the customer gains instant access to your services.

• Automatically when the entire order is fulfilled: Authorizes the payment at checkout, but waits to capture the payment until the order is fulfilled. You can still capture manually, if needed.

• Manually: Authorizes the payment at checkout and payment needs to be captured manually.

  Note

  Be aware that Danish law does not allow merchants to charge customers before their physical product has been sent. Please check the laws in the countries you sell your products.

Add MobilePay to Shopify

We have developed our own MobilePay App for Shopify.

Note

You need Frisbii Payments App in Shopify to use our app for MobilePay.

To use MobilePay, you need a live Frisbii Payments account and an acquirer agreement.

1. Log in to your Shopify account.

2. Click on this link to open the Shopify App Store to be able to install the app to your shopify account.

3. Click on Install.

4. You’re redirected to your Shopify account. Click again on Install.

5. Follow steps 7 to 11 from above to set MobilePay up.

Add Swish to Shopify

We have developed our own Swish App for Shopify.

Note

You need Frisbii Payments App in Shopify to use our app for Swish.

To use Swish, you need a live Frisbii Payments account and an acquirer agreement.

1. Log in to your Shopify account.

2. Click on this link to open the Shopify App Store to be able to install the app to your shopify account.

3. Click on Install.

4. You’re redirected to your Shopify account. Click again on Install.

5. Follow steps 7 to 11 from above to set MobilePay up.

Swish is always settled instantenously.
