A correction is generated alongside it, in the form of a new Deposit. **To trigger a correction:** 1. Open the initial Deposit (`IN`) already generated for the period to be corrected. 2. Call the *Generate an e-reporting correction (RE)* action, providing the ID of this Deposit. 3. A new Deposit is created, with the transmission type `RE` and a link to the original Deposit (*Original Deposit*). What you need to know about the result: - the original `IN` Deposit is never modified — the full history (original + corrections) remains available; - the correction's transmission ID is always different from the original's, suffixed `-RE-1`, `-RE-2`… the number incrementing with each new correction of the same period; - the correction is filtered by Company: it cannot mix invoices from two reporting entities, even if they share the same scheme and therefore the same calculated period. > **Always the full period** > > A correction regenerates the entire original period (same start and end dates), with the data as it stands at the time of the correction — never a partial, invoice-by-invoice fix. There is no mechanism to correct a single invoice within a period: the correction always picks up everything that matches the period at the moment it is generated.
