Starting situation
You have created a subscription in draft mode and generated the schedule to check draft invoices. Following this test, you want to modify one or more subscription items, because you made a mistake in the unit price excluding VAT.
To update draft invoices, you need to generate a new schedule after the subscription item has been saved.
Malfunction detected
When you check your invoice line items, you notice that the unit price excluding VAT on the invoice line has not been updated.
How can you update the unit price of invoices?
Bypass
To ensure that the unit price excluding VAT on invoice lines is updated correctly following changes to subscription items, you can use the precise unit price excluding VAT (Field: precise PUHT), which displays the unit price to 10 decimal places. This field was initially set up to export sales accounting entries.
Once the schedule has been generated, you will see the correct unit price in the invoice line item.

Precise unit price field set-up
As a Salesforce administrator, you can add the field to the Lightning page or the page layout depending on your interface setup.
Added to the Lightning page
If you are already using the new Lightning :
Go to a Subscription line item record.
Click on Setup > Change page.
In the navigation on the left of your screen, go to the Fields tab.
In the search bar, type "Precise unit price".
From the Fields section, you can now drag and drop the Precise unit price field into the appropriate section.
Save.

Addition to page layout
If you're not using the new Lightning :
Go to a Subscription line item record.
Click on Setup > Modify object.
Click on Page Layout in the navigation on the left of your screen.
If you have several layouts, click on the button to the right, Page layout assignment, to select the correct layout.
Then open the presentation by clicking on PAGE LAYOUT NAME.
In the Fields section, use the <0>Quick Search to search for <1>precise unit price.
Then drag the field into the appropriate section.
