How do I set up payment success notifications for my customers?

Question:

You don't have a way of testing the information chain from A to Z, so you're left wondering whether the customer was notified after payment, and whether the transaction was a success.

Answer:

You don't need to configure anything, as the Stripe platform will inform your customers of their payment.

Do payment schedules work in combination with Stripe?

Question:
You use payment schedules and would like to combine this functionality with the new payment method.

Answer:
No problem! Payment schedules are supported by the new functionality. Instead of a payment, the schedule will be displayed on the invoice PDF.

Does the invoice status have to be issued in order for Stripe to pay an invoice?

Question:
It is possible that you receive payment for an invoice before it is issued (yes, this is not a very common occurrence).
This means that the invoice is not issued when payment is due.

Answer:
This is not a problem for Stripe payment. Instead of the reference, the invoice name (invoice number) will be displayed in Stripe in this case.

Is there a way to track transactions via a report/dashboard?

You haven't found a report in Salesforce that gives access to all payment data. How can you retrieve the data?

Answer:

How long does it take to receive the money from Stripe to my bank account?

Question:
Your customers have made payments via Stripe, but the money hasn't arrived immediately. Is this normal?

Answer:
Yes! The money arrives in the account within 7 days of payment (source: Stripe).
Good to know : The more payments a Stripe account receives, the shorter the delay.

What is a bank reconciliation?

Question:
You're not from a sales environment and you're trying to understand the bank reconciliation term.

Answer:
This is a reconciliation between the sales accounting entries and the bank entries.
