Great! Linda has taken the necessary steps to install Stripe in her sandbox by following this Installation Guide.
She now works with Axel to organize training for the sales team. Let's take a look at the steps involved in this preparation for users.

All right, the team is set up, everyone has access to the sandbox and the cups of coffee are filled, so it's off to Stripe user training!

Generate a quotation using Stripe payment method

At Cloud Kicks they use quotations, so they naturally start with this object.
Everyone creates a test quotation using the Stripe payment method.

If you use subscriptions or opportunities, you can start with these objects.

Steps

1. Create a quotation with quotation items or use an existing quotation > Quotations - Setup.
2. From this quotation, choose theStripe payment method .

That was easy! The next step is to invoice this quotation.

Invoice the quotation

Our Cloud Kicks finance team create the invoice from the quotation but you can do that also from your subscription or opportunity.

Steps

1. Pass thestage of the offer to Won. Then the Create Invoice button will appear.

2. Click on theCreate Invoice button.

3. Click on Confirm.

4. The invoice payment method is also Stripe.

It's time to discover Stripe's PDF templates!

Create PDF invoice

Linda asks the sales team to test the Stripe versions of the package models they already know.

Steps

1. From the invoice you created in the previous step, click on the Create PDF button.
2. By default, payment is displayed as a payment link on the PDF invoice, but you can also display a QR code, as shown below:

The payment is displayed with a QR Code as a payment link to Stripe!

Apply a payment schedule

At Cloud Kicks they use payment schedules. Axel wants to check the display too.
They already have payment schedules in their sandbox. If this isn't the case for you, here are the articles on the subject:

Steps

1 In the invoice in question, generate the schedule from the associated Payments list.

2. Choose the schedule you have previously set up and click on Confirm.

3. Click on the Create PDF button.

The schedule is displayed with Stripe payment links!
