Object	Description
Opportunity products	Products are a basic catalogue of all the items and services you sell, with their standard prices. They allow you to create a custom set of products with a price list associated with specific uses. To manage business more efficiently, add products to opportunities.

## Their relationship with other Frisbii objects Here is the extract from the Conceptual Data Model showing the Salesforce Opportunity Product object and its relationship with the Frisbii objects. It shows you the links between the objects mentioned and others that we will discover later in the articles. Please note that the Opportunity Product object has a specific behaviour in Salesforce. You cannot create a direct link with a reference field to an opportunity product. ## The Salesforce fields Please consult this article to have the list of Salesforce fields: [Opportunity Product Fields](https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=opportunity_product_fields.htm&type=5). | Active | Formula (checkbox) | - Whether the price book entry (product and list price) is active and can be added to an opportunity or quote | | --- | --- | --- | | Created By | Lookup (User) | - User who created the product. | | Date | Date | - Close date of a particular opportunity product. | | Discount | Percentage (3, 2) | - Discount for the product as a percentage. - If you have synchronised a quotation with the opportunity, the total discount of the quotation line item (quotation line item discount and footer discount) will automatically be shown in this field. For example: 10% discount on the quotation line item + 20% overall on the quotation will make a 28% discount on the opportunity product. - If you have synchronised a quotation with the opportunity and you change this discount on the opportunity product, Frisbii automatically recalculates the discount to be applied to the synchronised quotation line item. Please note that if you apply a quotation line item discount lower than the quotation footer discount, Frisbii will calculate a negative discount for the quotation line item. For example: instead of 28% discount, you want to apply 20% discount on this opportunity product. Frisbii keeps 20% discount on the quotation and reduces the discount on the quotation line item to 0%. If instead of 25% discount you want to apply 15% discount, Frisbii keeps 20% discount on the quotation and reduces the discount on the quotation line item to -6.25%. There is therefore a negative discount applied. | | Last Modified By | Lookup (User) | - User who last changed the opportunity product fields. Converted currency amounts when the opportunity's currency is different from the user's currency. | | Total price | Currency (16, 2) | - Sum of all the product amounts for an opportunity product. | ## The Frisbii fields

Start Date	Date	Validity start date of the opportunity product (included in the subscription line item, if you create a subscription from the opportunity, and in the invoice line item). Allows you to generate pro-rata on the invoice line item. Please note: The prorata calculation will not be taken from the opportunity, the prorated amount is only displayed on the invoice line item.
End date	Date	Validity end date of the opportunity product (included in the subscription line item, if you create a subscription from the opportunity, and in the invoice line item). Allows you to generate pro-rata on the invoice line item. Please note: The prorata calculation will not be taken from the opportunity, the prorated amount is only displayed on the invoice line item.
Total amount including VAT	Formula (Currency)	Total amount including taxes. Formula: Total price + (total price * VAT rate) 2 decimal places
Quotation line item	Lookup (Quotation line item)	If a quotation is created from an opportunity or synchronised with an opportunity, this field is filled in accordingly.
First invoice only	Checkbox	Allows this Opportunity Product to be displayed only on the first invoice as an invoice line item. For example, for gym membership fees or equipment provided at the start of a service - internet box). If the subscription was created from an opportunity, then this information is taken from the opportunity product.
Quotation line item discount (%)	Formula (Percentage)	Discount percentage only at quotation line item level. Formula: If there is a global discount on the quotation, calculates the discount on the quotation line item related to the opportunity product: 1- ((1 - Discount rate on the opportunity product)/(1 - Discount rate on the quotation line item)) If there is no overall discount on the quotation, displays the opportunity product discount.
Synchronisation with single quotation?	Formula (checkbox)	Checked if the Number of synchronised quotations box is checked on the Opportunity related to the opportunity product
Synchronisation in progress?	Formula (checkbox)	Checked if there is no quotation line item linked to the opportunity product and the Synchronised quotation? field on the quotation line item linked to the opportunity is checked.
VAT rate	Percentage (4, 4)	Displays the VAT rate that was set by the VAT% picklist with 4 decimal places.
