# Sales forecast

## Definition

Sales forecasts cover all sales forecast by a company. This is a very important factor, particularly when it comes to financial forecasts and development. In fact, the sales forecast then determines all the resources needed to achieve the targets set.

## Dashboard objectives

In order to pr&parer your financial forecasts, or as part of a marketing study or project development, sales forecasts are very important for development. Here we'll try to explain how to set up the table and its various functions.

Below you'll find a sample of all the reports available, which we'll then try to explain one by one.

**Forecast by Company Name**

This dashboard provides an overview of the forecasted revenue by company name.

- Show me: All corporate names
- Creation date: All dates
- Related filters: Period end date

Group by :

Lines:

- Forecast date
- Name of the corporate name

Data :

- Sales forecast
- Product name
- Account name
- Amount

**Forecast by Account** Here you can view an overview of the forecasted revenue by account.

## Set up

You can define a number of display parameters for your dashboard, giving you a broader overview of the data you're taking into account. To do this, simply click on the little pencil icon shown in the image below, and then select the data to be displayed.
