  • Periodic distribution consists of distributing the value of an invoice line item over the months covered by that line.

  • The value is distributed in a prorated way, according to the Start date and the End date.

  • In Frisbii, the periodic distribution is a child object of the invoice line item.

Function activation

You can activate it from the Corporate Name.

Steps

1. Go to the Corporate Name for which you wish to activate the functionality.
2. Check the box Enable Periodic Distributions.

Test the generation of periodic distribution lines

To test the correct functioning of the periodic distribution, an invoice must be issued.

Once these actions have been completed, you will find the periodic distribution records on the Invoice Line items related list.

Report on periodic distributions

You can create a report to get more visibility on your periodic distribution records.
Here we take the example of an Accounts report with invoices and invoice line items.

Steps

1. Go to Reports.
2. Create a report using the report type Accounts with invoices and invoice line items.
3. Add columns:
  • Record name (periodic distribution)

  • Units per period

  • Account name

  • Invoice name

  • Invoice line item name

Note: To customise your report, you can also add filters and refine the results of the report.

Exporting periodic distributions

Once you have created your report, you can export it in CSV, XLS or XLSX format.

Steps

1. Go to Reports.
2. Open your report.
3. Click on Export.
