Preliminary Remarks
Address validation is a chargeable add-on module. Settings can only be made here after purchase or activation.
With the help of the address validation module, postal addresses from 240 countries worldwide can be checked. The address is checked both when invoice and/or delivery addresses are entered for the first time and when they are subsequently changed - this ensures that only valid addresses are entered.
This module uses the service of Byteplant GmbH. Byteplant is a company based in Germany that operates in accordance with the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). No addresses are processed and stored for purposes other than validation. At no time will customer data be passed on to third parties.
All data made available to Byteplant GmbH via this module will be automatically deleted within 14 days.
Settings for address validation
After purchase, the module must still be activated so that settings can be made for address validation.
The Active slider activates or deactivates address validation for all address forms. If Validate invoice and delivery addresses is selected, both addresses are always queried and checked. Only one of the two addresses can be selected.
Note: These settings then apply to all clients. However, these can be overwritten in the client and thus customized.
In the client: In the client, the address settings can be defined individually on the offers in the detail view via the action bar.
