Preliminary Remarks
Various payment method variants can be created and managed in the Payment Methods tab, which can be activated or deactivated as required.
Filled fields, such as additional information, opt-ins and payment methods, are displayed to the customer in the checkout.
Add variant for payment methods
Click on + Add variant for payment methods in the action bar. The editing mode opens.
Define Internal Title. This designation is only used for internal allocation and is not displayed to the customer in the checkout.
Click on the Active checkbox to activate or deactivate the variant. Only one variant can be active at a time.
A period of activation can be specified as an option.
Additional information:
Use the drop-down menu to select the language.
Click on + to add another language.
Click on Set as default language to set any language as the default.
Enter additional information in the text field.
This text is visible to the customer in the checkout on the right-hand side below the legal information.
Activate/deactivate checkboxes:
Query opt-in during checkout: If active, the opt-in text is displayed in the checkout on the left-hand side below the terms and conditions.
Note: The opt-in text must be added under Opt-In.

Payment methods displayed in the checkout:
All payment methods previously configured under Payment methods appear on the right-hand side.
Drag the payment methods from the left to the right side. Only then will they be displayed in the checkout.
The order in which the payment methods are listed also appears in the checkout and can be customized.
Manage payment method variants
Edit payment method variant
Select the desired variant from the list.
Click on Edit under Actions >.
The editing mode opens.
Delete payment method variant
Inactive payment method variants can be deleted in the detail view via the action bar. Once the variant has been deleted, this can no longer be undone.
