# Creation of WBZ vendor accounts

## Preliminary Remarks

WBZ vendors are managed as customers in the system. However, an account for a WBZ vendor differs from a regular customer account: WBZ vendor accounts receive unique identification features in addition to the regular customer ID:

- Vendor number
- Vendor group

An account can be created in the following ways:

- via the Merchant Backend
- via the API

## Creation via the Merchant Backend

- Click on **+Create WBZ vendor**.
- Mandatory fields for the system
  - e-mail address
  - Language
  - Dealer group
  - Dealer number
- All other fields are optional and identical to the creation of regular customers.
