1. What does opt-in mean?
The text entered here can be used to obtain additional (optional) consent, such as a newsletter.
2. Where do I create the text for opt-in?
In the menu item Settings > Applications > Opt-Ins , you can enter the text that will be displayed when completing a purchase in the checkout or during registration.
3. How is an opt-in activated?
With the "old" checkout:
First, the status of the opt-in must be set to Active . In the menu item Settings > Applications > Checkout in the Payment methods tab, you can set to also query the opt-in during the checkout. You set this in the currently activated variant.
With the "new" checkout:
In tab Components > Contents, Opt-In during checkout can be activated.
In the menu item Settings > Applications > SSO in the Settings tab, the opt-in query can be activated during registration.
