# Settings

## Preliminary Remarks

General checkout settings can be made in the checkout settings.

## Edit settings

- Click on **Edit Checkout Settings**.
- **Allowed domain**: Here you can enter a domain from which the checkout should be allowed to start.
- **Contract Partner Text:**
  - Use the drop-down menu to select the language.
  - Click on **+** to add another language.
  - Click on **Set as default language** to set any language as the default.
  - Enter **a contract partner text** in the text field. This text is displayed in the checkout below the button*Purchase*.

- **Allowed Countries**: Use the drop-down menu to select the country or countries from which customers can complete the checkout.
