# Export Configurations

## Preliminary Remarks

- An export configuration offers the option of defining different export paths for files generated by the Frisbii Media system.
- Possible applications include the provision of delivery lists or IVW reports as a download or on an external server.
- Export configurations therefore offer a flexible tool for distributing files in a targeted manner.

## Create export configuration

The creation form offers three options in addition to the text field for naming the export configuration:

- the provision in the download area of the Frisbii Media Backend
- export to an external SFTP server
- the recurring dispatch to one or more recipients by e-mail

Either one option or a combination of several options can be used.

## Use export configuration

To use export configurations, they are added to objects that create a file. These can be [delivery lists](/frisbii-media/docs/lieferliste-erstellen) or IVW reports.

If an export configuration is supported, there is always a drop-down field **Export configuration** in the editing form of the corresponding object, which can be used to select an export configuration and save it to the object.
