💡General information

Why does plenigo become Frisbii?

We have been helping companies to implement digital business models for over twelve years. As a partner to leading German publishers and other key players, we are helping to shape the future of the reader- and user-financed media world.

But the media industry is evolving - and we are evolving with it. To be even stronger, more innovative and better networked for you, plenigo has now become Frisbii Media.

Frisbii stands for growth and new opportunities. Together with billwerk (expert for cross-industry subscription management in Germany), Reepay (Danish specialist for payment solutions) and sofacto (French provider of a subscription management app for Salesforce), we are bundling our strengths under a new brand.

Our promise remains:

As Frisbii Media, we remain your reliable partner who understands the challenges of the media and publishing industry - and offers the right solutions to drive your success. Our team of experts continues to work with our strong community to actively shape the future of the media world.

Why are we(billwerk+, sofacto and plenigo) joining forces to form Frisbii - a single brand?

Over the years, we have expanded our capabilities and customer base throughout Europe. By bringing everything together under one brand, we can offer a clearer, stronger and more consistent user experience. You can find more information on our new website: www.frisbii.com

What does rebranding change?

  • Our name and branding is now Frisbii.

  • The design and user interface of our product will gradually be adapted to our new look.

  • Our website and emails will reflect our new brand.

  • No immediate changes to prices, contracts or support.

  • You will temporarily stumble across plenigo in some help videos and documentation while we gradually update all content.

When will the name be changed?

The name change is effective immediately. You will probably come across plenigo here and there in the platform and in the knowledge base during the transition phase, as we will be making these changes gradually.

🖥️Plattform and organizational matters

Do I have to do anything?
No. Everything stays the same for you. Your contract conditions, services and integrations will continue as usual. Your contracts will no longer be issued by plenigo GmbH but by Frisbii Media GmbH - however, all other data, such as bank accounts and payment information, will not change.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact your usual contact person.

Is the product changing?
No. The platform will remain in place and will be further developed under the Frisbii umbrella. It will become the central enterprise solution in Europe and will continue to be adapted to the needs of publishers.

You will notice in the merchant backend over the next few weeks and already today that the colors and fonts of the interface have changed. All functions remain unchanged. The product you know does not change. Of course, we are constantly developing our product further - so you can look forward to new, exciting functions.

Will the way I log in or access my account change?
No. You can log in with your login details as usual. The only thing that has changed is the appearance of the login screen.

In the first step of our rebranding phase, our plenigo URL will remain unchanged. We will be changing the URL over the next few weeks - before this happens, we will of course provide you with all the important information.

Will my API access change?

Not at the moment. All existing API endpoints remain in place for the time being. We will introduce our endpoints under the new brand and phase out the old endpoints over time, but we will provide you with information for the migration well in advance. We will update the API documentation accordingly to reflect the new brand.

Will the old website still be available and how can I contact customer support?

Our plenigo website will be online for a few more weeks. Our new Frisbii website can be accessed via the following link: www.frisbii.com

Our customer support is available for you as usual. However, please note that we have a new e-mail address: support@frisbii-media.com

In order not to miss any updates from us, remember to add our new e-mail addresses to your whitelist.

What about the knowledge base, the API documentation and the SDK documentation?

We are also changing the appearance of our documentation - the content remains the same and will of course continue to be intensively maintained.

In the coming months, we are planning to move our documentation to a new, central platform. So you can already look forward to a centralized database in which you will find all the instructions for our product.
We will of course communicate this change as soon as it is ready and forward you to our new knowledge base.

👀Focus and strategic orientation

Will the focus remain on publishers and media companies?

Yes, our core business remains supporting publishers in setting up and optimizing digital business models. We want to further standardize digital sales models and open up additional sales potential for publishers through European cooperations.

Will Germany remain in focus?

Yes, Germany remains our strongest market, which we are continuously expanding. At the same time, we are supporting our teams in France and Denmark to establish Frisbii as the leading platform for publishers there too.

Are you still pursuing print business models?

Our focus is on digital business models. However, we know that print and digital are often closely linked - which is why we continue to support hybrid models in which print subscriptions can be integrated into digital subscription solutions. With opensubs , we also continue to offer a solution for challenges that cannot be solved with a subscription management platform alone.

🫶Events & Community

Will there still be customer events?

Yes! Direct communication with you remains important to us. We will continue to organize events and network meetings in the future to share best practices and work together on the further development of the industry.

What role does the European community play?

Our community is becoming more European and more networked. We rely on exchange across national borders to share proven models and develop new digital business strategies.

🤝opensubs & Frisbii Media

What does the switch to Frisbii mean for opensubs?

Nothing will change for opensubs customers - our solution approach with all opensubs partners will continue in its current form and remain the central provider for the German publishing industry.

The only thing that is changing: plenigo , the heart of opensubs and the subscription management platform, is now called Frisbii Media.

Existing contracts do not need to be updated and there is no migration. opensubs remains the provider that offers solutions for the various needs of the publishing industry.

Who will manage opensubs in the future?

Christoph Hauschild remains Managing Director at opensubs. This means that the strategic direction and proven community work will remain unchanged. The two other managing directors, Oliver Geffers for Ohl connect and Christian Goedecke for bardohn, are also still on board.
