The tasks of PSPs include the acceptance, authentication and fiduciary processing of payments. Most payment service providers offer **SEPA direct debit** or **credit card payment** for connecting to online stores, for example. The use of a PSP for the payment of purchases and subscriptions in connection with **Frisbii Media** requires a license directly with the respective provider. The individual PSPs are activated by first creating an account with the payment service provider and then entering the necessary data in the Frisbii Media Merchant Backend. More information on the respective payment service providers and how to set them up can be found [here](/frisbii-media/docs/prozesssteuerung). The activated PSPs are made available to the customer for selection in the checkout. --- ## Select payment methods - Click on **Edit** . - The payment methods that have already been set up can be activated or deactivated by clicking in the checkbox. The payment methods that have **not** been set up are highlighted in gray. - They can be activated/deactivated separately for **single items** and **subscriptions** . - Specific **countries** can be selected in which the payment methods should be accepted. If no country is selected, it is accepted in all countries. > [!TIP] > **Note:** Google Pay and Apple Pay > > - only work if **Stripe** has been set up as the PSP and they are active in the [Stripe backend](https://dashboard.stripe.com/login). > - are already included under **Credit card** and **do not** need to be activated separately in the **Payment transactions** tab. --- ## Sort payment methods > [!TIP] > **Note**: With the new checkout version C.250430-MAJOR, this tab is no longer available. The activated payment methods can be sorted individually for single items and subscriptions in this tab. The sorting takes effect in the checkout and is displayed to the customer in the set order.
