# Create voucher offer

## Preliminary Remarks

A gift voucher is a sales offer for a voucher code and uses a gift voucher template to generate a PDF voucher.

- The voucher code is automatically printed on the PDF voucher.
- The PDF voucher will be sent to the buyer by e-mail.
- The [**voucher purchase** mail template](/frisbii-media/docs/e-mail-vorlagen) is used for dispatch.

## Create voucher offer

In this context, the articles on creating [templates for gift vouchers](/frisbii-media/docs/vorlagen-geschenkgutscheine) and the information on [restrictions on possible offer types](/frisbii-media/docs/angebotsarten-zur-verwendung-mit-gutschein-angeboten) for voucher offers are also important.

**Start of the offer creation**

- Call up the main menu item **Products**.
- Open sub-item **Offers.**
- Click on the button **+** **Create Offer**.
- In the **Gift vouchers** section, in the **Gift voucher** tile, click on the button **Create.**

**Internal data & Checkout texts**

- Enter the **internal title** for the internal naming of the offer (not visible to customers).
- Optionally, select a folder in the folder structure.
- Enter the public name of the **offer** (visible to customers).
- Enter and format **Legal advice*** for the gift voucher. This data is displayed to customers in the checkout.
- The fields **Description** and **Summary** can be used to display further information to the customer during checkout (optional).

**Functional connections**

- Select a previously created **access right** or create a new access right via **+ button**.
- Select a previously created **price sheet** or create a new price sheet via **+ button**. A price sheet within a voucher offer can **no longer** be **changed**. This means that if price changes are desired, a new voucher offer with a corresponding price sheet must be created.
- Link an **offer for voucher redemption**. This offer is activated for the voucher recipient upon redemption. The selection of offers is filtered. Only [specific offers](/frisbii-media/docs/angebotsarten-zur-verwendung-mit-gutschein-angeboten) can be used for redemption.

> **Note**
> 
> The price in the price sheet and the price of the offer for voucher redemption need to match. For example, if the price sheet is 20 €, the price of the offer for voucher redemption also needs to be 20 €.
- Select a previously created Template for Gift Vouchers for generating a PDF voucher in the linked template drop-down menu.

**Validity**

The settings here determine how long the purchased voucher code is valid.

- **Unlimited** allows redemption without an end date. The voucher code never expires.
- **Fixed period** determines a period from the purchase of the voucher. The default value is 3 years. The available units are days, weeks, months and years. The voucher code can no longer be redeemed after the specified period has expired.

**Accounting and Taxes**

In this section, objects from the [accounting](/frisbii-media/docs/rechnungswesen) area can be linked. The data is necessary to enable Frisbii Media to export accounting data.

- Select a created **Ledger** .
- Select a created **Cost Center** .

**External Management**

By default, all offers are managed and billed by Frisbii Media.

- Activate the function **Externally invoiced** (optional).
