In order for an assignment to take place, there must also be the option to log in to the SSO within the app. If a customer now logs in with the same e-mail address that is stored at the customer in the Merchant Backend, the purchase can be assigned to the customer with the corresponding API call **associate**. Assigning in-app orders has the following advantages: - By purchasing within an app, the customer can also access via a web browser without having to purchase a separate offer. - The in-app orders are visible directly on the customer data record in the Merchant Backend. - The terms of access rights from in-app orders can be viewed. API endpoints: **Apple**: [**associate**](https://api.plenigo.com/#tag/App-Stores/operation/associateAppleAppStorePurchase) [**dissociate**](https://api.plenigo.com/#tag/App-Stores/operation/dissociateAppleAppStorePurchase) **Google**: [**associate**](https://api.plenigo.com/#tag/App-Stores/operation/associateGooglePlaystorePurchase) [**dissociate**](https://api.plenigo.com/#tag/App-Stores/operation/dissociateGooglePlaystorePurchase) --- ## In-App Orders All assigned in-app orders are listed in the list view. Click on the **Order ID** to open the detail view, where you can view all the information relating to your purchase. In contrast to the detail view in the menu items [App Store and Play Store Purchases](/help/de-de/197-in-app-kaufe/960-einkaufe-im-app-store-und-play-store), the **customer ID** in the Merchant Backend is linked here under **General information**. The assigned customer can be opened either via the list view or via the detail view by clicking on the **customer ID** in the Merchant Backend. --- ## Dissociate app purchases from a customer You can unlink all Apple App Store and Google Play purchases from a customer directly in the Merchant Backend, without using the **dissociate** API call. This is useful, for example, if a customer wants their account to be deleted or anonymised: as long as in-app purchases are linked to the account, they count as active purchases and block the deletion. 1. Open the customer account. 2. Click **Manage** and select **Dissociate App Purchases**. 3. In the dialog, click **Dissociate App Purchases** to confirm. To cancel without making any changes, click **Close**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/b84e1b5d-2ba6-4465-8c62-fb45a2f31314/Images/Documentation/image-N88UL67L.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T09%3A38%3A54Z&se=2026-11-07T10%3A38%3A54Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=%2FKwWJab2RxjaCqW45gjpLtTB5ksewugCvWkgPhppHZ8%3D) The **App Store Orders** tab still lists the customer's orders, now with the status **DETACHED**. > [!NOTE] > Note > > - All in-app purchases of the customer are dissociated at once. You cannot select individual purchases. > - The purchases stay valid in the app. The customer only loses the link between the app purchase and their customer account, for example access via the web browser.
