# Create delivery list

## Preliminary Remarks

> [!CAUTION]
> ❗ **ATTENTION**
> 
> In order to ensure a correct financial accounting export, delivery dates for all issues must be maintained at least **two years in advance** for analog delivery lists so that all active accounting periods are fully covered.
> 
> For **monthly objects** where long-term planning is not possible, the function for **renaming** and **moving** existing entries in delivery lists can be used.
> 
> ⚠️ **Avoid overlapping delivery dates and subsequent insertions**.
> 
> If an issue needs to be "inserted",
> 
> - rename the matching existing entry
> - and adjust the titles of the subsequent issues accordingly.

Digital and analog delivery lists can be created for each offer.

An **analog** delivery list is used, for example for magazines, books or hybrid products in order to transmit the necessary (address) data to a print shop for production and, if necessary, delivery.

A **digital** delivery list, on the other hand, is mainly required for IVW e.V..

> **Note**: Digital delivery lists may **not** be added to issue-based offers!

## Add delivery list

- Click on **Add Delivery List**.
- Choose between **an analog** or **digital delivery list**.

The following fields must be completed for both analog and digital delivery lists:

- Determine **Title*** .
- Determine **the file name of the delivery list*** .
- Optional **A reminder should always be sent X week(s) before the last saved delivery date**.
  - If this option is selected, the field **Recipient address** becomes a **mandatory field**.
  - If this option is not selected, the **recipient address** field is grayed out and **cannot** be edited.
- Optionally, select [**Export configuration**](/frisbii-media/docs/exportkonfigurationen) to be used for the delivery list.

### Generate dates

For analog delivery lists, in contrast to digital delivery lists, it must also be determined when the **delivery list** and the **subsequent delivery list** are to be created.

- **The delivery list should always be generated X days before the publication date**.
- **The subsequent delivery list should always be generated X days before the publication date** .

For automatic date generation:

- Determine **start and end date** .
- choose between **weekly** and **monthly** delivery list creation.
- Click on **Generate Dates**.

The list is generated **automatically** and can be **edited at any time** . In contrast to **digital** delivery lists, for which only a **publication date** is generated, **analog** delivery lists also generate **the delivery list** and **the subsequent delivery list**.

> **Note**: An initial **120** dates can be created. If you need more, click on **Save and add further Delivery Dates** at the bottom right.
