Preliminary Remarks
In the contracting company in the Emergency Mode menu item,
the admin can reset passwords.
the admin can activate the emergency mode.
To access the function, a registered administrator must enter their password for the Merchant Backend again.
Reset passwords
In cases where it is necessary to protect the accounts of customers, this function can be used to reset the passwords of all customers.
Customers must then assign a new password. Technically, this can be the same password, but this is expressly not recommended .
Activate emergency mode
In emergency mode, all connections via the Frisbii Media API are prevented.
To do this, the API access tokens created in the system are deactivated. This will deactivate all functions associated with the Frisbii Media iFrames (login, checkout, self service, etc.). Further effects:
Customers can no longer log in. Instead, a special error message is sent.
All active customer sessions for the customer API are deactivated.
In addition, the emergency mode may have an impact on third-party systems that process data from the Frisbii Media System via an API access token.
In most cases, an activated emergency mode means that the Frisbii Media Self Service is not available to the end customer. This can lead to problems and an increased number of service and support requests from affected users. To deal with this and still be able to inform the affected customers directly, we recommend the following procedure:
Create your own transfer token at https://api.frisbii-media-stage.com/#tag/Sessions/operation/createTransferToken.
Further information on handling sessions and transfer tokens within the Frisbii Media Self Service can be found at here. However, as all connections to the API are interrupted, an error 400 is issued in response to this operation.Various ways of dealing with/reacting to error message 400 are then conceivable:
Display of an individual message such as "Sorry! This service is not available at the moment."
