Frisbii Media uses the "building block principle" when creating offers. The individual building blocks are built first so that they can be put together in any combination at the end. This entry deals with the relationship between price segments, price sheets and product contracts.
Price Segment
The creation of a price segment is optional. It is particularly useful when offers are sold in different countries where different prices apply. Instead of creating three different price sheets, each with three different prices and three different offers, you can simply create three price segments, which in turn are added to a price sheet that can be used to create an offer.
Example:
Offers are to be marketed in Germany and the EU. However, the price in Germany should differ from the price for the other EU countries. The monthly subscription will cost €10.00 in Germany and €12.99 in the EU. Two price segments (Germany and EU) are now created. Only the countries are defined in the price segment itself. The price for the respective country is only defined in the price sheet.
Price Sheet
The previously created price segments are listed in the price sheet. The different prices can now be assigned here (Germany: €10.00 and EU: €12.99) The main advantage of a price sheet is that only one price sheet needs to be created when creating several offers with the same price. If, for example, several offers are to be marketed that are offered with a 3-month test phase for €0.00, only one price sheet with the price €0.00 needs to be created and this price sheet can be used again and again.
Product Contract
A product contract is only required for the creation of subscriptions. The product contract defines the general conditions of the subscription (accounting period, notice period, subscription interval and price), again using the example of several offers with a 3-month trial period for €0.00. The corresponding framework conditions are defined in the product contract and the price sheet € 0.00 is added. This product contract can now be used to create multiple subscriptions with a 3-month trial period.
