Create Multiuser Corporate Contract

Preliminary Remarks

Product contracts for multiuser corporate offers provide a comprehensive framework for managing subscription-based services targeted at business customers. These contracts are specifically designed to accommodate the complex pricing and billing requirements that arise when serving multiple users within a single organization.

Within the product contract, several key elements can be defined to establish the terms and conditions of the corporate offer:

  • Contract Terms: Encompass the fundamental operational parameters, including runtime duration, accounting periods, cancellation periods, and subscription intervals.

    Note

If the multiuser corporate offer is to include several products with different pricing conditions, several product contracts must be created. All product contracts must have the exact same contract terms!

  • Pricing Structure: Defined through a basic fee (optional), which is consistently billed regardless of usage patterns, ensuring predictable baseline revenue, and a pricing strategy with the possibility to define price tiers to accommodate different user ranges with varying rates.

    Two pricing strategies are available:

    • Price Per User operates on an individual user basis, where each user within the corporate account is charged a predetermined amount (for example, €2.50 per user). This approach provides linear scaling based on actual user count.

    • Price Per Package operates on users in predefined packages (for example, 10 users for €5). This strategy encourages bulk purchases and can provide cost advantages for larger user groups.

When creating multiuser corporate product contracts, it must also be thought about in advance how the offer is to be structured as this has effects on the definition of the maximum user count.

  • If the offer is to contain several separate products, the maximum user count can vary per product.

  • If the offer is to contain several products within a bundle, the maximum user count per product may not vary.
