🔧Improved
The user rights management form in the Merchant Backend has been completely redesigned to make access management more intuitive and efficient. This feature requires the Administrator role and is located in the Contracting Company in the menu item Settings > User Administration > Groups and Rights.
Intelligent Permission Dependencies: Rights are now interconnected and automatically activated when related permissions are granted
Example: If a user group needs rights to operate the Merchant Checkout, they will also automatically receive access to customer data, customer addresses, payment methods, orders, and subscriptions.
Informative Help Texts: Each permission now includes an info icon (i) that displays a detailed explanation of the specific right and its dependencies
Simplified Permission Definitions: Instead of the previous distinction between read and write permissions, we now define more precisely which actions the user group can actually perform
Example: Previously, for the "Customers" menu item, it was only possible to activate/deactivate read and write permissions. Now access rights can be defined more granularly. A user group can, for instance, have view-only access to customer data without being able to delete customer accounts.
Improved User Experience: Rights management is now significantly easier - you can assign the correct permissions without requiring technical knowledge about API access. Almost every individual menu item and subitem has its own access right to view and to manage.
💡 Migration to the New Form - What You Need to Do:
We are not performing an automatic migration. Therefore, we ask you to review and re-save your permissions:
Log in to your account as admin and go to Settings > User Administration > Groups and Rights.
Open your existing user groups in edit mode - the new form will appear.
Check if the rights selected in the new form match your requirements and make changes if necessary.
Simply click Save for the new permissions to take effect.
Changing payment method at active, but canceled subscriptions
If a subscription is canceled, it is possible that it will continue to run for a longer period of time. In this case, it is active and canceled. In this status, the payment method can still be changed.
🐛Bug-Fixes
PLEN-9595: When creating a new product contract using the “+” button during quotation creation, an incorrect entry caused the window to close immediately. It was not possible to correct the entry directly and the entire process had to be restarted. This problem did not occur when a product contract was created outside the quotation. This error has now been fixed so that the entry can be corrected and saved after an error message without having to restart the process.
