# How can I duplicate plans or components?

If you want to create many similar plans or components and avoid manual work, you can duplicate created plans or components. Plans are duplicated including their plan variants. To do this, click the ![mceclip2.png](https://cdn.document360.io/b84e1b5d-2ba6-4465-8c62-fb45a2f31314/Images/Documentation/167d9a5aa54fe9(2).png) icon in the corresponding row.

Note that the external ID of the plan variant is removed during copying, since it must be unique. After the copying process, you can add these manually.
