Overview
This article walks you through connecting the Frisbii MCP Connector to Claude or ChatGPT or any other MCP-compatible client, so your AI assistant can read and, if you allow it, act on your live Frisbii Billing and Payment data.
Before you begin
You have created a Frisbii API key specifically for this connection.
You have the rights to set up an MCP connection in the AI assistant.
The MCP server is available at https://mcp.frisbii.com/mcp.
Note
The connector can only perform the actions exposed as tools. See Supported Frisbii MCP tools for the full list.
Anyone using the connection acts with the permissions of the API key you supply — scope the key accordingly before connecting.
Configure the MCP server on Claude
To set up the MCP server on Claude, follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Click on Connectors.
Look for the Frisbii Billing & Pay MCP and click on Connect.
You will be taken to a new page where you must enter the Frisbii API Key. To learn how to create an API Key, refer to this article.
After entering the API Key, Claude will prompt you to approve the connection.

Configure the MCP server on ChatGPT
To set up the MCP server on ChatGPT, follow these steps:
Open ChatGPT and go to Settings.
Go to Security and login and activate Developer mode.
If developer mode is not activated, you cannot add the MCP connector manually - so make sure it’s activated.Go to Plugins.
Click on Browse plugins.
Click on +
For better association, upload a logo, give it a name (e.g. Frisbii MCP) and insert
https://mcp.frisbii.com/mcpinto Connection.Click on Create.
Click on Sign in with Frisbii MCP.
Enter your API key and click on Authorise.
→ Once authorised, you can utilize the Frisbii Billing and Pay MCP Server in ChatGPT.

Connect any MCP-compatible client
The Frisbii MCP Connector isn't limited to Claude or ChatGPT. Any AI assistant or tool that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect manually using the server URL and your API key.
MCP server URL:
https://mcp.frisbii.com/mcpAuthentication: your Frisbii API key.
In your client's MCP or connector settings, add a new server using the URL above, then supply the API key exactly as the client's own setup flow requests it (as a bearer token, header value, or prompted credential, depending on the client). Refer to your AI assistant's own documentation for the exact steps, since these vary by client.
