Since the establishment of a new sales department, DreamHouse has hospitals and clinics as customers, to whom they sell their cleaning service. The sales team is now confronted with the index revision of the subscriptions, as each year their rates increase by 3%.
Pedro and Clara, from the Sales team, ask D'Angelo how to handle their first index review case with Frisbii. They want to set up a two-year subscription with a revised price: the initial subscription price should increase by 3% in the second year. If the customer renews the subscription, a 3% increase should also be applied.
Creating an index
D'Angelo first shows them how to set up an index and its values in Frisbii.
Steps
If the Indexes tab is not present: from the application launcher, type Indexes and click on Indexes.
Click on the New button.

Name your index and specify its status.
Note: The Status picklist allows you to activate your index. An index must be active in order to affect the price revision.
Once the index has been created and activated, we can now enter a value for the index.
Together, D'Angelo, Clara and Pedro have created this index:

Entering index values
Following the index creation, D'Angelo shows Clara and Pedro how to set up the index values.
There are two ways:
Or they enter index values manually,
Or they import them en masse via the Salesforce import wizard. If you want to import index values, follow this Salesforce article: Data import wizard.
D'Angelo shows them how to create manually.
