Now that Linda has shown Candace and Mary how to generate sales ledger entries, they want to export them for presentation to their accountant and then integrate them into her accounting tool.
Exporting Sales ledger entries
Here are the steps to follow for export.
Please note: from the Winter'20 version onwards, Frisbii takes into account sales ledger entries to 4 decimal places (in addition to those to 2 decimal places), in order to be compatible with a greater number of ERP systems.
For 2-decimal sales ledger entries, choose the Export ledger entries (2 decimal places) report. For sales ledger entries with 4 decimal places, choose the Export ledger entries (4 decimal places) report.
Steps
Go to the Reports tab
Select the Export ledger entries (2 decimal places) or Export ledger entries (4 decimal places) report.
Click the Edit button to make changes to your filters.
Click on Export to export your entries.
you can export in two ways :
a) Export the entire report
In this case, it contains the report header, groupings and filtering details.
Beware : Your export will be in Excel .xlsx format

b) Export only the detail lines
This method is preferable if you want to perform other calculations or if you want to load the rows into another application (e.g. your accounting tool).
Beware: Your export will be in Excel .xls format and you can choose the appropriate coding.
