Often Candace, Cloud Kicks' top salesperson, has to recreate a quotation for a customer with slight modifications. She asks Linda how she can avoid completely starting from scratch in order to save time.
Linda, the Salesforce and Frisbii administrator, shows him two options for copying a quotation.
How to clone a quotation
If Candace wants to create a copy of the quotation with all the information except the quotation line items, she can follow the steps below. Upon creation, she can also make changes directly.
Let's see how she proceeds.
Steps
Go to the Quotations tab.
Open the concerned Quotation.
Click on the Clone button.

The New Quotation window opens, with the information from the initial quotation.

Edit the information you want to update and click Save.
Note: The new quotation is created, using the information from the original quotation and taking into account your changes. As mentioned above, quotation line items are not included.

Now Linda shows Candace how copy the record, if she wants to take over the quotation line items as well.
