App Store Offers

Preliminary Remarks

In order for the Merchant Backend to be able to assign the App Store offers, these must also be created in the Merchant Backend. If an App Store offer is now communicated to our system via the API call add , the App Store offer is assigned to the offer created in the Merchant Backend using the product ID. The offer appears again in the menu item In-App Purchases. If no App Store offer with the corresponding product ID has been created in the Merchant Backend, it cannot be assigned and uses the fallback offer stored in the Merchant Backend. This means that an App Store offer (fallback offer) must have been created in the Merchant Backend so that the App Store offers can be displayed at all. The diagram below illustrates this process once again.

A link to the corresponding apps must have been created beforehand. >> Mobile Apps

Create App Store offers

  • Define Internal Title.

  • Optionally, add description .

  • Select App Store* to which the offer is linked.

  • Define Public title*. You can choose from a text block that has already been created or create a new text block.

  • Enter the product ID of the App Store*.

  • Use as fallback product can be ticked. The first offer that is created automatically becomes the fallback offer. After further offers have been created, another fallback offer can be determined.
The fallback offer is required if an app receipt is transmitted to the Merchant Backend but it cannot find an offer with the corresponding product ID.

  • Tags can be added optionally.

Either one product or several products (bundle) can be added.  To do this, define a public title and an access right for each product.

After the saving process, an in-app product ID is automatically generated for each product. This is required if an offer that has already been created is to be changed via the API. If an in-app product is to be deleted, it is sufficient to delete the in-app product ID from the array.

Manage App Store offers

All offers that have already been created are listed in the list view. They can be opened, edited and archived in the detail view.

Note: Fallback offers cannot be archived.

All offers that have already been archived are listed in the Archived tab and can be reactivated.
