Create and Use Cross-Client Offer

Preliminary Remarks

Cross-Client Offers are created when a Cross-Client-Connection has been established between two clients. The source client (the client who is not actively selling the offer) creates the cross-client offer to share it with the target client - who in turn creates a shopping cart. A cross-client offer can only be managed by the client who created it. Only the right to access the offer is shared.

Offer Creation

  • Open the Cross-Client tab.

  • Click on Create to create a cross-client offer.

The form for creating the respective offer type opens. The creation of a cross-client offer is essentially no different from standard offers.

  • In addition to the standard fields, only the connected clients is selected.

  • Optionally, a text block can be created and stored for Self Service. For example, it is advisable to inform the user that the subscription cannot be managed in the source client's Self Service and to set up a redirect to the target client's Self Service.

  • The cost center of the other client (target client) must be maintained for each product in the Products tab! This is crucial for accounting later on.

After saving, the offer is displayed in the list view under the menu item Offers in the Active tab.

  • The client who created the cross-client offer (source client) can edit it like all other offers.

  • For the connected client (target client), the offer is displayed in the External Offers tab and cannot be edited there.

Further steps

After creating the offer, the target client creates the shopping cart with his offer and the external offer. All transactions triggered by cross-client offers are recorded in the log Payout List.
