Overview
For gift voucher offers, you need a gift voucher template. It consists of a PDF file that serves as the printed voucher document sent to the purchaser after the purchase, as well as the position and format details for the offer title, voucher code, and validity period. Once created, a template can be linked to a voucher offer.
Note
You can create several templates, for example for different sales promotions such as Easter or Christmas, and then assign each one to the relevant offer. When a voucher is purchased, the system automatically generates a 12-digit voucher code, which is printed at the position you've defined on the PDF.
Before you start
You've prepared a PDF document with the voucher design (A4 format, portrait orientation, 210 × 297 mm).
You know the desired X and Y coordinates for the offer title, voucher code, and validity period on the PDF.
Create a gift voucher template
To create a gift voucher template, go to Templates → Gift voucher templates.
Click on + Add voucher template to create a new template.
Internal title: Assign an internal title to identify the template. This title isn't shown to the purchaser.
Language: Select the template's language. The language stored in the customer's account determines which PDF is sent. The voucher template can be created in any language.
Upload voucher template: Upload a PDF to position the offer title, voucher code, and validity period on it later.
Position and format of the variables in the selected language: Position the texts on the PDF using X and Y coordinates and set the font size and color for each variable.
The coordinate refers to the A4 sheet format in millimeters, portrait orientation (horizontal between 1 and 210, vertical between 1 and 297), and marks the position of the top-left corner of the first letter of the variable text.
Once the template is saved, you can generate a preview of the voucher PDF to check the positioning of the offer title, voucher code, and validity period.

Note
This template uses the text "GUTSCHEIN" and the note "IHR ZUGANG ZUR DIGITALEN WELT VON Frisbii" as a fixed design element of the PDF. The voucher code and validity date are inserted dynamically at the positions specified above. Redemption is via a QR code and the link showcase.frisbii.com/einloesen, which is also permanently built into the PDF design.

Once you've created the template, you can attach it to a voucher offer.
