How do I use the search in the Merchant Backend?

Preliminary Remarks

There are two ways to start a search in the Merchant Backend.

  1. via the global search

  2. via the search in the corresponding menu items (e.g. customers)

In the global search, which is available in every area of the Merchant Backend, only IDs/numbers (e. g. order ID, offer ID, customer number, etc.) can be searched for.

In the search in the corresponding menu item, there are various criteria, depending on the menu item, according to which you can search or filter.

Global search

The global search is located at the top of the Frisbii Media interface. You can search for IDs/numbers in the global search. As IDs can only ever exist once in the system, the detailed view is opened immediately when a match is found. If there is no match for the ID entered, an error message appears below the input field.

Search (filter function) in the corresponding menu items

In most menu items in the Merchant Backend, there is the option of searching for specific criteria or filtering the table.

If the search returns a hit, this is displayed in the list view. If the search shows an unwanted hit in the list (due to typing errors, etc.), the filters can be adjusted again.

The exception to this rule is the search for a voucher code in the menu item Vouchers. If a voucher code is entered in the search field, the hit is displayed immediately so that the user does not have to search for it in a long list.
