Preliminary Remarks
The Payment methods tab provides an overview of all payment methods associated with the customer. The only payment method that can be added for the customer via the Merchant Backend is bank account. Other payment methods are managed personally by the customer via Self Service.

The overview in the Payment methods tab shows the stored payment methods.
Possible actions in this tab:
add a bank account
delete a payment method
Note
Only bank accounts can be added in the Merchant Backend. All other payment methods, such as PayPal, credit card, Amazon Pay, etc. can only be added and managed independently by the end customer in Self Service.
Add bank account
Click on Add bank account in the action bar to create a bank account.
The account holder and IBAN must always be stated. BIC is optional if the bank account is within the EU.
If Add mandate reference has been ticked, the mandate date and the mandate reference must be entered.
The mandate date must be today.
After saving, the bank account created will be displayed in the overview of payment methods.
