🚀Here’s what’s new and improved in Frisbii Billing and Pay in March and April. These changes were released based on updates completed between May 18th – May 22nd, and packaged for publication on Monday, 25th.

🔧 Enhancements

✅ Settlement data available on invoices

Product: Pay & Billing, Starter, Growth, Scale
Platform: App + API

What’s changed
You can now access settlement information directly within Frisbii for supported payment methods. A new Settlements section is available on invoices, showing settlement details including the payout amount, deducted fees, and settlement date.

Settlement data is also available through APIs and webhooks. Merchants can subscribe to settlement notifications and retrieve settlement details through the Invoice API to support reconciliation and downstream workflows.

Supported payment methods currently include:

  • Shift4 Credit Cards (coming to production next week): Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex, Discover, JCB, Diners

  • PPRO Alternative Payment Methods: BANCOMAT Pay, MB Way, Payconiq, Paysera, Satispay, TWINT, WeChat Pay, BLIK One Click, iDEAL | Wero, Przelewy24, Finnish Banks, Bancontact, EPS, Estonian Banks, Latvian Banks, Lithuanian Banks, Multibanco, MyBank, Trustly, SEPA Direct Debit, Paysafecard

Why it matters
You can now view settlement information directly in Frisbii instead of relying solely on settlement files from acquirers or payment providers. This makes it easier to understand invoice payouts, track deducted fees, and automate reconciliation using APIs and webhooks.

✅New Billing Delay for deferred invoice generation

Product: Billing – Growth, Enterprise
Platform: In-App

What’s changed
You can now configure a billing delay in hours or days to postpone invoice finalisation and payment deadlines.

During the delay period, invoices remain in an UNFINALIZED state so usage, prorations, and adjustments can still be applied before billing. Once the delay expires, the invoice moves to PENDING and any outstanding metered usage is billed.

Why it matters
Billing delay gives you more flexibility to:

  • Review or dispute charges before billing

  • Align invoicing with accounting cycles

  • Accommodate delays in final amounts or service delivery

  • Consolidate usage before billing usage-based products

Please note

  • No invoice PDF, email, accounting number, or accounting invoice is generated while invoices remain UNFINALIZED

  • Delayed invoices can still be cancelled following finalisation rules

  • Billing delay does not affect dunning periods or offline payment terms

  • Not applied on subscription start, trial end, or subscription resume after pause

📌 SEPA Chargebacks

View SEPA chargebacks directly in Frisbii, linked to the relevant invoice for easier visibility and tracking.

📌Bank Transfer Reconciliation

What’s coming.

Soon, you’ll be able to connect your bank account directly to Frisbii and automatically reconcile incoming bank transfers against invoices created using offline payment methods.

When customers pay by bank transfer, Frisbii will retrieve bank postings and match payments to open invoices using information such as invoice references, payment amounts, and account identifiers. Once matched, invoices are automatically updated to reflect settlement.

This supports both one-off and recurring invoice flows.

Why it matters

Offer bank transfer as a payment option without introducing manual finance processes.

Bank Transfer Reconciliation reduces manual payment tracking, helps keep invoice statuses accurate, and allows you to continue automating invoicing, recurring billing, payment collection, and dunning workflows within Frisbii. Unmatched payments continue through your existing dunning process automatically.
