Caution

To enable a customer to trigger a discount with a coupon code from your website, please create a field on your own page where the coupon can be entered and thereby included in the call to Frisbii Pay. Once the coupon code has been entered on your own page, you can validate whether it is valid by using: API Validate Coupon Code.

Access to the coupons interface

Click on Configuration → Product catalogue → Coupons.

Table columns of the coupons list

First of all we will go through the different columns of this table.

Status

Shows status of coupon: active or deleted

Handle

ID of the coupon to be retrieved via API

Name

Commercial name of the coupon

Code

Coupon code to be communicated to clients to be redeemed

Discount

Name of the discount linked to the coupon

Applies to

The plan(s) it applies to. You can choose if you would like to apply it to all plans or only to one special plan.

Valid until

Expiration date of the coupon (if defined)

Redemptions

How often the coupon has already been used. If there is a limit, it will be shown

Type

Single and Set

Created

Date and time stamp of creation

You can adjust the view of the list by adding or hiding relevant/irrelevant columns as you see fit:

  1. Click on the  icon.

  2. Add or hide certain columns by using the slider.

You can add filters you need regularly.

  1. Click on the  icon.

  2. Add or remove certain filters by using the slider.

  3. Click into the filter to either type into or select from the drop-down list.

Create a new coupon

Note

Before adding a new coupon, please set up a discount first.

If you would like to create a new coupon, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on + New.

  2. The Create Coupons window opens.

  3. Insert a Name and a Handle.

    Note

    The Handle field will automatically overtake the content of the Name field. If you prefer to change it, you can click on the pen symbol.

  4. Enter a Coupon Code that will be published to your customers.

  5. In the Discount box, decide on which discount you would like to base your coupon.

    1. If no existing discount is found, follow the link Create a discount which leads you to the right interface.

    2. If you already created one or more discounts, the interface will propose it to you directly.

  6. In the Availability box you can select whether you wold like to apply the coupon to all plans or only to selected plans.

    Note

    The Select plans box is greyed out, if there are no existing plans available.

  7. In the Validity box, you can set if your customers can redeem this coupon:

    • Anytime: No limits.

    • Before a specific date: Set the date and time of the expiration date.

  8. In the Redemptions box, you can decide on the maximum number of times the coupon can be redeemed across all customers:

    • Unlimited: There is no limit of redemption.

    • Limited: Enter the number of redemptions the coupon is limited to.

  9. Click on Create.

  10. A pop up confirms your changes.

Your coupon will show up in the list:

Edit a coupon

You would like to apply some changes on your coupons?

  1. In the list, click on the coupon to be edited.

  2. Make your changes.

  3. In the top right-hand corner, click on Save.

Delete a coupon

Note

If you would like to disable and not to delete the coupon, use the Validity option (see step 7 in Create a new coupon).

If you would like to delete your coupon:

  1. In the list, click on the coupon you want to delete.

  2. In the top right-hand corner click on Delete.

  3. Click on Confirm.

  4. A pop up confirms your changes.

  5. In the list of Coupons the status of your discount changes to Deleted, but it stays in the list.
