Create a subscription as follows:
In the navigation bar, click on Customers > Customers.
On the Customer page, click on an existing customer.
Scroll to the Subscriptions box and click on Create Subscription.
Plan
Choose an existing plan.
When should the billing start:
Now: Immediately after confirmation
Choose Date: At a specified date and time
Activate (or not) Automatic cancellation
If yes: Set a date, when the subscription shall be cancelled.
Pricing
Add as many order lines as you need in the Pricing box.
You can decide whether you would like to display the Subtotal before or after taxes by activating the switch
.

Decide to Generate a handle or to set it manually.
Add a discount: Read this article.
Add a coupon: Read this article.
Add an add-on: Read this article.
Add a Usage-based billing product: Read this article.
Add additional costs: Click to add additional order lines.
Trial options
Use plan settings: Use the trial period set on the plan (Displayed).
No trial period: Override and remove the trial period
Custom trial period: Override and customize the trial period
Set a Length and a Unit (Days or Months)
Contract Terms
By default, the contract terms defined in the plan are set. They can be overwritten when creating a subscription.
Contract start date can either be the same as the billing start date or a custom date. This can be as far in the past as required.
This option can be very helpful when migrating subscriptions that have already started way back in the past.Contract period end date defines the date when the initial contract period is to end and when the contract period (after renewal) starts.
The date can either be in the past or in the future. If a date in the past is selected, the contract period (after renewal) runs from this date onwards. It however cannot be less than the contract start date.Contract period (after renewal) The contract period that is applicable after the Contract period ends. All future contract periods follow the value set here.
Minimum contract period end date defines the date when the period in which the subscription can be canceled but is still billed to end.
The minimum contract period end date cannot be later than the contract period end date.Notice period: The duration for which the subscription will run after cancellation before it expires.
Entitlements
Add a predefined entitlement.
Payment option
Email: Send request email to customer
Define a grace duration*. This allows a certain amount of time for the customer to sign up with a payment method without initiating the dunning process.Hosted Page: Get link to the hosted page

The payment method will appear in the list.
