July Release - 27.07.2026

Prev Next

🚀 Here's what's new and improved in Frisbii Billing and Pay in July. These changes were released based on updates completed between July 13th – July 24th, and packaged for publication on Monday, July 27th.

🔧 Enhancements

✅ Pending subscriptions no longer shown as Trial in the admin UI

Product: Billing – Starter, Growth, Scale
Platform: App

What's changed
Subscriptions with a configured trial period that don't have a payment method now correctly display a "Pending" status in the admin UI, instead of "Trial." This is because the subscription hasn't started yet and is still waiting for a payment method to be added.

Why it matters
You can now rely on subscription status in the admin UI to reflect whether a subscription is pending activation or already in trial, avoiding confusion when reviewing customer accounts.

🐛 Bug Fixes

✅ Fixed-period discounts no longer extend after subscription holds

Product: Billing – Starter, Growth, Scale
Platform: App & API

What's fixed
An issue caused fixed-period discounts to extend beyond their intended duration whenever a subscription was placed on hold and then reactivated — repeated holds could extend a discount indefinitely. The discount window is now anchored to when the discount was applied, not the subscription's start date.

Why it matters
Discounts now expire exactly when configured, regardless of any holds or reactivations, ensuring accurate billing.

✅ Company name and email now display correctly in the invoice overview

Product: Billing – Starter, Growth, Scale
Platform: App

What's fixed
Customer company name and email address were sometimes missing from the invoice overview, even when populated on the customer record. These fields now display correctly.

Why it matters
You can now identify invoices by customer name and email directly from the overview, without opening each invoice individually.
