Which functionalities can be implemented for individual products and subscriptions?
There are certain functionalities in the Frisbii Media Merchant Backend that cannot be implemented in the same way for single products and subscriptions.
Process control
Process control in the Merchant Backend can minimize financial risks by registering repeated use of non-functioning payment methods and blocking them, and blocking access or even terminating the contractual relationship with the end customer in the event of failed payment attempts.
Process control only applies to subscriptions and not to single products.

An automatic partial cancellation can be triggered for subscriptions, for example by canceling the subscription. This functionality is not possible with single products. It is possible to carry out a manual partial cancellation by correcting the corresponding invoice. In this case, the refund (except for payment on account) is processed automatically via the PSP.

Skeleton refers to an offer that can be overwritten with external data. If a single product is to be sold repeatedly, for example a weekly e-paper, it is not necessary to create a separate offer for each issue. In the Merchant Backend, all you need to do is create an offer and overwrite it with the relevant data via the checkout. This is only possible for single products, but not for subscriptions.

For subscriptions, a delivery list is created at a defined interval, listing all end customers who receive a delivery of analog products. This delivery list can be downloaded and forwarded to the print shop accordingly.
A special delivery list is created for single products, the so-called "delivery notes". This is only created if analog single products were purchased the day before. In order for the corresponding single product to trigger a delivery notes list upon purchase, an analog tax type must have been assigned to the offer.
