Why is my subscription being renewed despite canceling?

Deadlines and terms in the Frisbii Media System are calculated in months, days or years. A new subscription step always begins with a day change at 00:00.

In order for the cancellation to be valid, the customer must give notice in good time. In this case, successful cancellation depends on the defined notice period of the offer.  

Example:

Offer step 1

Duration: 1 month 

Cancellation period: 1 day to the end of the term

Start date: 23.12.2020

End date: 22.01.2021

This means that in this case the subscription ends at the end of the first offer step, i.e. January 22, and becomes a paid subscription from January 23. The customer must cancel accordingly by the end of January 21, as the cancellation period was set at 1 day before the end of the term. If the cancellation is not carried out until 22.01.2021, the cancellation is not effective, as 22.01.2021 is the last day of the term and therefore no longer falls within the defined cancellation period.

In this example, a cancellation must therefore have been carried out by the end of the day 21.01.2021. 

This applies regardless of whether a customer purchases the subscription on 23.12.2020 at 00:00 or 23:30.
