🚀 Here's what's new and improved in Frisbii Billing and Pay in October. These changes were released based on updates completed between September 21st – October 1st, and packaged for publication on Tuesday, October 6th.
📢 New Features
➕ Separate Billing and Shipping addresses on customers
Product: Billing
Platform: App
What's new
The customer address is now an explicit Billing address, and you can add a separate shipping address with its own name, VAT ID and contact details. Scheduled subscription invoices now use these addresses automatically, and the shipping address is used for tax calculation when it exists. You can also mark a customer as related to your company (Organschaft).
Why it matters
Invoices show the right addresses, and VAT is evaluated correctly when delivery and billing addresses differ.

📈 Settlement Tools in the Frisbii MCP server
Product: Billing
Platform: API
What's new
The Frisbii MCP server now includes read-only settlement tools. You can list settlement entries (captures, refunds, payouts and fees) for a period, retrieve a single entry, and view the settlement breakdown behind an invoice or a payout.
Why it matters
You can reconcile payouts and review fees with your AI tools, using your existing API key.

🔧 Enhancements
💲 Configurable Invoice Texts for VAT-exempt cases
Product: Billing
Platform: App
What's changed
You can now configure separate invoice texts for reverse charge, third-country supplies and Organschaft (intercompany) in the invoice configuration, and translate them. Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and the UK are now treated as third countries instead of printing the EU reverse-charge text.
Why it matters
Your invoices show the correct exemption wording for each case. Please confirm the wording with your tax advisor.

✅ One Invoice Line per price range for add-ons and metered usage
Product: Billing
Platform: App & API
What's changed
Add-ons and metered usage products with several price ranges now appear on the invoice with one line per range reached, showing the units and rate of each. The invoice total stays the same.
Why it matters
You and your customers can see which units were charged at which rate.
💡 No right of withdrawal for business customers
Product: Billing
Platform: App
What's changed
Customers with a VAT ID on their record no longer see the 14-day Withdraw option in the customer portal. They see the regular Cancel option instead.
Why it matters
The EU right of withdrawal applies to consumers, so business customers now get the correct cancellation flow.
🐛 Bug Fixes
✅ No immediate charge of an old card for link sign-ups
What's fixed
An issue where subscriptions created for an existing customer with the sign-up link option immediately charged an old or expired stored card has been resolved.
Why it matters
These subscriptions no longer go into dunning before your customer can enter new payment details.
