September Release - 15.09.2025

Prev Next

🚀Here’s what’s new and improved in Frisbii Billing and Pay this week. These changes were released based on updates completed during the week of Sept 8th – Sept 12th, and packaged for publication on Monday, Sept 15th.

🆕 New Feature

🔁 Billing

✅ Schedule Actions

Applies to: Billing (Starter, Growth, Enterprise)
Platform: App & API

What’s new

Hotly anticipated - you can now schedule future actions on subscriptions  – directly in the UI or via API. This lets you automate subscription and contract changes to happen exactly when you want them, without manual intervention.

Available UI actions include:

  • Pause and reactivate a subscription

  • Expire a subscription

  • Add or remove an add on

API actions include all of the UI actions plus:

  • Change subscription price

  • Change the plan for a specific subscription

Why it matters

Managing subscriptions is rarely static – plans evolve, prices shift, and customer needs change. Without automation, these updates often mean extra admin, room for error, or awkward timing that impacts your customer experience.

View the Knowledge Base documentation for how to create schedule actions.

🔧Enhancements

✅ Support for negative quantities and prices in order lines

Applies to: Billing (Starter, Growth, Enterprise)
Platform: App

What’s changed

You can now set negative quantities OR negative unit price amounts for order lines in customer and subscription invoices. This makes it easier to handle credits, returns, or adjustments directly on the invoice.

⚠️ Important limitation:

  • An order line cannot have both a negative quantity and a negative unit price amount at the same time.

  • If e-invoicing is enabled and a negative unit price is used with a positive quantity, you’ll see a validation message:
“Setting negative unit price amount is not compatible with e-invoicing.”

Why it matters

This update gives you greater flexibility when issuing corrections or adjustments without needing to create additional credit notes or manual workarounds. It ensures compliance with e-invoicing rules while streamlining invoice management.
