User management

Overview

This article shows you how to create, edit, and manage users for your Frisbii account, including how to set up two-factor authentication and what password rules apply.

Go to Configurations → Admin and billing → User management.

Create a user

  1. In the top right-hand corner, click on Invite User.

  1. Enter the user’s email address.
You can also invite several users at once by entering multiple email addresses. These users will all have the same rights defined below. If you want users with different rights, you need to invite them separately.

  2. You can also set:

    Role/Job function

The user's professional function in your company. Choose one: Finance, Technical / IT, Operations / Marketing, RevOps / Commercial, Executive / Leadership, Product, or Support / Customer Success.

    User type

A label describing the user's relationship to the account. Choose one: Finance Contact (billing or payment responsible), Technical Contact (integration or API responsible), Standard User (normal operational user).

    Decision maker

A checkbox indicating whether the user has authority over purchasing, contract, or strategic product decisions. Unchecked (No) by default for invited users.

Note

Role/Job function, User type, and Decision maker are informational fields only, used for account segmentation. They do not grant or restrict any platform access. Access rights are controlled entirely by the permissions you select in the Access section below — see User rights.

  1. Select the permissions the new user should have.

Each permission is explained in the User rights table below.

  2. Click on Send Invite.

→ Emails to the user’s email addresses are sent out informing them they are invited to use the account.

When they click on “Click here to login”, they are directed to a page where they see which rights they have, and they are required to insert their name and password to create their account.

After clicking on “Create User”, their account is created and they can start using the Frisbii Admin.

Manage your users

Once a user has been added, you can edit their details, delete their access, or review exactly what each user is allowed to do.

Edit or delete a user

To edit or delete a user, click on the respective icon.

You can update a user's Role/Job function, User type, and Decision maker fields at any time from the edit user screen, as well as their rights.

Two-factor authentication

Enabling two-factor authentication will prevent users from being required to change their password every 90 days.

Note

2FA cannot be reset for an individual user. If a user has lost access to their authenticator app and can no longer log in, the only option is to delete the user and create a new account

Two-factor authentication (2FA) serves as a security measure for identity and access management, necessitating the use of two distinct forms of identification for accessing resources and data.

Set up two-factor authentication

  1. Go to Configurations > Admin and billing > User management.

  2. In the top right-hand corner, activate Enforce 2FA.

How does it work?

When Enforce 2FA is activated, users have to identify themselves via their mobile phone, in order to login to Frisbii. If the two-factor authentication is activated, it apples for the whole account.

All existing and new users will have to use 2FA starting with their next login.

To activate this feature, users need to download and set up an authentication app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or others.

Following this they scan a QR code and fill the 6-digit one-time password provided by the authenticator app.

In the user settings, you have the ability to review who has currently implemented 2FA.

Password rules

To maintain the security and integrity of customer data, users should adhere to the following password practices:

  • Password complexity:

    • Passwords should be at least 12 characters long.

    • Passwords should contain a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters (e.g., @, #, $, etc.).

    • Passwords should not contain easily guessable information, such as names, dictionary words, or repeated characters.

  • Passwords should be changed at least every 90 days.

  • Users should not share their passwords with anyone.

  • Users should handle any suspected password compromise by changing their password immediately and reporting to the account admin.
