What is a Frisbii Release Note?
A release note covers all the new features present in a new version of Frisbii: functionalities, bug fixes, improvements to the user experience and updates to our knowledge base.
This release note is intended for all users of the Frisbii application and, more specifically, for administrators of the Salesforce org on which it is installed.
We update our release notes as soon as possible, after each new version of the Frisbii application. Our Release Notes provide brief descriptions of the improvements and new features we've introduced.
How is the update performed?
The new version is available on request, by creating a support request via the Frisbii community.

Flagship features
Here are the major new features you'll find in Summer '21.
Calculation of MRR/ARR and projected subscription sales (beta)
For whom
For all Frisbii Finance or Administrator users.
Why
MRR and ARR, which stand for Monthly Recurring Revenue and Annual Recurring Revenue respectively, are very important KPIs for any business model based on the subscription economy. They give you an idea of a customer's value, and visibility on future revenues. They concern recurring revenues only, without taking into account any prorating (start and/or end of subscription).
In addition to recurring invoicing, projected subscription sales include one-shot invoicing (first invoice only) and proratization.
It therefore gives an exact picture of the revenue generated by a subscription, right up to its end date.
Eventually, once the sales forecast has been validated, the calculation of subscription sales will no longer be based on the invoice lines of the billing schedule, and the complete generation of the billing schedule will no longer be mandatory.
How to
You will find the MRR report by Company Name among your Frisbii reports:
Group billing of subscriptions (beta)
For whom
For all Frisbii Finance or Administrator users.
Why
The new functionality meets several use cases:
One of your customers takes out several subscriptions which have separate cycles (the terms of the contract are potentially different) but which must be invoiced together.
The entity billed is not the same as the entities with subscriptions.
Different products are billed at different rates for the same subscription.
Bonus: grouping allows you to have different indexes on a group subscription by using different indexes on group subscriptions.
How to
To use this feature, new buttons are available on the Subscription object
Here's a complete article on the subject: Subscriptions - Group billing for multiple subscriptions
Product management from Quotation/Invoice/Subscription (LWC)
For whom
For all Frisbii Sales, Finance and Administrator users.
Why
Until now, the pages for adding/managing products on offer items/invoice lines/subscription items were Visualforce pages, displaying packaged fields that could not be modified.
To enable administrators to tailor these pages to the needs of Frisbii users, we've created Lightning Web Component pages, which use fieldsets.
Administrators can select the fields (packaged or custom) displayed on these pages.
How to
From the configuration and object manager, administrators access field sets.
This article gives you more details on the procedures to follow: Administration - Product management (Quotation/Invoice/Subscription).
Emailing PDFs stored in Files
For whom
For all Frisbii Finance or Administrator users.
Why
Historically, the preferred storage location for PDFs was Documents, not Files.
Salesforce recently announced that Documents would be deprecated in the near future, and indicated that Files was the "royal road". To anticipate this, we are gradually migrating all our functions so that PDFs can be stored, managed, opened and sent from Files.
How
From now on, you can send PDFs from the PDF Files object as well as from the invoice, with the same options as when PDFs were stored in Documents. See Administration - Managing and sending PDFs stored in Files for more details.
New PDF invoice templates to comply with French regulations
For whom
For all Frisbii Finance or Administrator users.
Why
The compliance of invoice PDFs created with our application with French law is very important.
That's why we've added all the compulsory information on the six new models in the package. By the way, we've provided you with a number of display options, so you can customize your invoice to suit your needs.
How to
If you're currently using a model from our package, we strongly advise you to test our six models in your sandbox, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
The article PDF templates - The new Spring '21 invoice PDF templates will help you choose and test the templates.
Fixes and improvements
Reporting
| New report on ageing scales The aged trial balance groups receivables by customer in a table, according to the number of days past the due date (matured and unmatured). As of Summer '21, this report is in your directory. |
Safety and legal compliance |
More flexible application of the Law |
User experience
| Dynamic page layouts Starting with the new version, page layouts have been replaced by dynamic forms. This has enabled us to redesign all the objects and offer you a more sober, less busy contextual display, by tab. This has also enabled us to adapt the page layout to the context: certain fields, buttons or sections are displayed only when they are relevant. The article Administration - The new page layouts and how to modify them from Spring '21 gives you all the details on the new layouts, how to set them up and how to add or modify a custom field. |
Full translation of the application We reviewed all the English translations of our application: buttons, help texts, field labels and our transition pages. We are also in the process of translating our User and Administrator knowledge bases. |

Frisbii Administration
| Control fields We have corrected a malfunction that occurred when selecting control fields for automations on different objects (Administration tab). Now you can select the formula fields you've set up for the different objects to define the control field for the automation in question. |
